Why Do You Need To Use An O2 Spacer?

If you have just installed a de-cat pipe in your car, you will notice straight away that you are getting the EML on the dash, which is really annoying!

The Exoracing O2 lambda sensor spacer works by increasing the distance of the lambda sensor from the decat pipe, which reduces the reading and gives the ECU the correct reading.

The lambda sensor modification allows for a quick and easy fix to the engine management light without affecting the rest of the system. It also allows you to run a decat without problems.

This lambda sensor spacer is compatible with any car that uses an m18x1.5 lambda spacer, has the sensor installed post-catalytic convertor, and has enough room to use it.

The Exoracing lambda sensor spacer is also incredibly strong and lightweight. It is machined from 304 stainless steel and weighs an incredibly small 39g!

Please see the technical specifications table at the bottom if you are unsure about the dimensions and whether they will work for your application.

We now also offer an Exoracing lifetime warranty on our lambda sensor spacers against manufacturing defects. We know you will love them as much as we do, and we want to offer a risk-free buying experience.

Exoracing O2 Lambda Sensor Spacer Installation Guide:

Installing our lambda sensor spacer is quick and easy if you follow the steps below. If you are unsure about any of the steps or need help installing, please get in touch with a professional who can assist.

  1. Jack the car up or lift it with a ramp, and use all relevant safety precautions, such as axle stands, goggles, etc.
  2. Remove the post-cat lambda sensor from the exhaust where you need to install the spacer.
  3. Ensure you have enough room against the chassis once the lambda and spacer are installed together.
  4. Install the Exoracing O2 spacer in the exhaust port, tighten it, and then torque it to factory specification using the 22mm hex at the top of the fitting.
  5. Screw the lambda sensor into the spacer and tighten it to the factory specifications of your vehicle.
  6. Remove the axle stands and let the car down. Start the engine and ensure the EML is not lit up and you are not getting any other warning lights. If you get warning lights, you may have to reset your ECU.
